That was a lot of fun! About 150 people joined us for a day of Native Plant Education, a physical Plant ID activity, and pulling some crazy weeds.
Project Monarch held its first Native plant forum with our favorite plant nerds, Antonio Sanchez from SAMOFUND, Nicole Calhoun founder of Artemisia Nursery, and Jason Wise, JasonJourneyman. Santa Monica Mountains Fund‘s plant team joined us with some plant give aways and a milkweed planting activity for an amazing and beautiful day. Breakfast from our Bread Lounge fam in the Arts District and Dim sum from Long’s Family Pastry
